If your name were called, would you be able to speak?

For many of us, nothing triggers anxiety like the idea of speaking in public.
Yet it’s something that almost everyone has to do at one time or another. So get rid of your fear of it by taking a workshop designed by SPOT — Social Professionals of Toastmasters.
The 75-minute workshops are held Tuesdays at the Hilton Chicago, 720 S. Michigan. Each session begins with icebreaker games and includes scheduled speakers as well as networking after the meeting. In other words, lots of talking to get you comfortable doing so.
The workshops, which are free, begin at 6:15 p.m. To register, sign up here.
