Tattoo for diabetics could mean end of finger-pricking

According to an article on Gizmodo, Scientists have been working on a bloodless, needleless alternative to the daily finger-prick that most diabetics must endure: a rub-on temporary tattoo, which sucks glucose through the surface of the skin.

The thin, flexible device created by nanoengineers at UCSD is based on the much bulkier GlucoWatch, a now-discontinued wristband that worked through the same glucose-sucking principal, according to the article.
